Dr. Deborah Howard

Vice President of Clinical Services

Dr. Deborah Howard serves as Vice President of Clinical Services. She is an experienced nurse practitioner with a doctorate as well. A former Army medical specialist, she has over 35 years of bedside wound care experience as well as leadership experience in overseeing nurses, practitioners, and physicians in various healthcare settings. A former educator and leader at Duke University’s wound care center as well as other national leading wound care organizations, she leads Personic Health’s clinical education and training. She has a strong passion for teaching to both clinicians and patients. She brings a wealth of clinical and teaching experience to Personic Health.

Sarah Mahler

DNP, RN, NP-C, CWOCN

Sarah Mahler is a specialty nurse practitioner, completing her Masters in Nursing in 2017 and her Doctorate in Nursing in 2019 from the University of South Alabama. She has been certified as an adult geriatric primary care nurse practitioner for 6 years. Sarah has experience practicing in multiple levels of care including hospitals, outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and home care.

Ashish is a strong patient advocate who is always looking for new opportunities to learn and discover better ways to serve his patients. He is passionate about his work and gets up every morning ready to put a smile on his patients’ faces. In his spare time, he loves to listen to music and take his dog, Bernie, on relaxing car rides.

Kristen Leizear

Nurse Practioner

Kristen Leizear, NP is a lifelong resident of Maryland. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland-College Park. Her first Masters Degree was earned at the University of Maryland-Baltimore as a Clinical Nurse Leader, with her second Masters Degree earned from Chamberlain University as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She worked as an Emergency Room RN for seven years before obtaining her NP license and has experience in Urgent Care and Urology. Kristen lives in Carroll County with her husband, four kids, dog, cats, and chickens. She enjoys reading, animals, and any outdoor activity or sport.

Leticia is originally from Puerto Rico and moved to Florida in 1994 to attend the University of Ana G. Méndez, where she received a master’s degree in Science of Nursing. Throughout her career as a Family Nurse Practitioner, she has enjoyed building professional relationships and helping patients establish their healthcare goals. In her spare time, Leticia loves to hang out with her four children, her granddaughters, and her two dogs.
